Another Goalden Moment for Harrod UK
The annual goalden globe awards, now in its 11th year, were held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry as a collective celebration of each of the nominee's dedication to supporting the sport of Netball week in, week out.
This year's ceremony saw over 300 guests attend in their finest 20s Great Gatsby themed outfits; including sponsors, players, coaches and volunteers involved in the sport, from a regional to national level.
As the UK's leading manufacturer of sports equipment and official supplier to England Netball, Harrod UK were proud to continue their support of Netball in the UK by sponsoring the Mary Bulloch Administrator Award. This particular award was named after England Netball's Honorary Life Member Mary Bulloch for her exceptional service at a national level.
This year's deserved winner Val Bentley, from Humberside County, was chosen for her tireless dedication to organising the Humberside County tournaments at Junior and Senior Level, and for her invaluable development of netball at grassroots level for over 35 years.
"The Mary Bulloch award provided us with an ideal opportunity to recognise and reward Val's commitment to developing netball as Junior Treasurer, whilst encouraging her ongoing contribution to the netball community that she serves." -explains Sales & Marketing Manager Kevin Utton.
The final duty of the evening was to induct Jillean Hipsey, Carol Spencer and Charlotte Rose as deserving recipients of Honorary Life Membership to England Netball.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone nominated for the Goalden Globe Awards 2015, as well as all those who won.
